Behind Empower Mindset
Empower Mindset was established on a foundational truth: sustained athletic excellence requires more than physical training—it demands mental mastery. In a performance culture that often prioritizes physical conditioning, the psychological side of sport remains underdeveloped for many athletes and coaches. Empower Mindset was created to change that narrative—bridging the gap between mental health, performance psychology, and competitive success.
With a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and over a decade of experience working across semi-professional and professional sports environments, Rachel brings a highly specialized and research-informed approach to mental performance coaching. Her background includes working with athletes from a broad range of sports—basketball, football, lacrosse, field hockey, equestrian, swimming, soccer, and more—equipping them with the psychological skills required to perform under pressure, rebound from adversity, and lead with purpose.
Rachel's journey as a four-year NCAA athlete at Johns Hopkins University shaped the foundation for this work. Competing at a high level revealed not only the intensity of physical demands, but the critical—yet often unsupported—mental challenges athletes face. Empower Mindset was founded to provide the very kind of structured, high-impact mental training that many athletes, like Rachel, once needed but couldn’t access. This work is not just professional—it’s deeply personal.
At Empower Mindset, we believe that elite performance is driven by clarity, resilience, and psychological readiness. Mental fortitude is not a supplement to athletic performance—it is the engine behind it. Through years of applied fieldwork and academic rigor, our approach blends cutting-edge sport psychology principles with practical, sport-specific application to help athletes and coaches unlock their full potential.
Empower Mindset is dedicated to developing high performers who are not only physically prepared, but mentally strong and emotionally grounded—on the field, in the arena, and in life.
